Preparing for OSHA’s New COVID Requirements

Josh Rickel News

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is preparing to release their Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS), which will require employers with over 100 employees to require a COVID-19 vaccination or weekly testing for its workers and The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has released an excellent how-to guide to help employers prepare to comply with the new requirements.

The guide points out one of the most important steps in determining your organization’s approach to vaccination tracking and COVID testing compliance is to collect current vaccination status data from your employees. If all employees are vaccinated, compliance should be relatively easy. If a low number of employees are not vaccinated, you may implement procedures for tracking the weekly testing of those employees and if a large number of employees are not vaccinated, you may find the logistics and expense of tracking weekly tests to be logistically overwhelming. We are here to help.

At JobSiteCheck, we recognize the digital integration of field workers into the digital project management process is the only way to make informed, data-driven decisions. Knowing worker vaccination status is one of the many data points that helps you make informed policy decisions, keep your workplace or job site safe, and remain in compliance with ever-changing regulations. We understand that every company is different which is why our platform is flexible enough to meet your company’s unique processes.
